I used to draw/paint/write purely for the love of expression and creation, rarely criticizing or questioning the content or my intentions/purpose. Now and lately, I have become more rigid with and critical of my art, appalled at every flaw and imperfection- which is one of the reasons I abandoned my old gallery, and started this one. ...But, when I did that, I cut off and locked away a piece of my self and soul, and with them, went my ability to reach within my heart and just let my art flow. This has presented itself in my recent artwork- while my technique has improved, much of the emotion I used to be able to capture seems lost. This pains me greatly. Lately, It has reached the point where creating seems more draining than fulfilling- which is terribly sad, as I have such an abundance of inspirations and muses in my life and mind- thoughts, emotions, visions, people- that deserve to be expressed and celebrated...
This- 2007- has been a very transformative year for me. I am trying to reclaim that which I have lost over the past several years. Thus, I feel it necessary to return to my old gallery.
Long story short: I AM RETURNING TO MY OLD GALLERY-

.
I hope you will follow me back... to myself.

Writing is like prostitution. First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and finally for money.
